Rainbow Scavenger Hunt

This fun activity came from HANDS ON AS WE GROW. The blogger has great directions for how she executed this activity and printable clue sheets to go with it! I'm not going to even attempt to do my own full direction post on this because she did a great job.

The only additions I made for my kiddos was that I made them each their own hunt. I used words for my 5-year-old K student and photos that I printed for my preschooler (I can't draw well). I made sure to have clues all over the house so the kids got a bit of exercise out of the activity too! We even included Dad and the dogs :)

Then when they completed the scavenger hunt they sorted the clues in rainbow order then made a 3-D rainbow craft! (pictured in the slideshow to the left) I would have loved to add cotton balls to the plate to make clouds but we are all out!
